What is the difference between Wildflower Honey and Regular Honey?
Wildflower honey comes from uncultivated fields, it is the closest thing to all-natural that you will find on the shelves. Wildflower honey is a healthy mixture of antioxidants and other essential nutrients. Since Wildflowers are usually resistant to pests, this makes them reliable and is known to have some distinct features that we do not always get from regular honey.
Here is a Fun FACT: Bees hate pesticides.
What does Wildflower Honey taste like?
Wildflower honey comes from a great variety of blossoms, the taste, aroma and flavour will vary from season to season, depending on which flowers are dominant at the time the nectar is collected.
Storage Tips
Honey should be kept covered in a dry place at room temperature. Honey will not spoil and needs no refrigeration, which merely hastens granulation. Natural pure honey will begin to recrystallise at some time even if properly stored, it is completely normal and perfectly fine to consume.
Granulation, or crystallisation, is a natural phenomenon that does not harm the honey in any way. Likewise, the white foam often seen around the rim of the honey bottle is not caused for concern. The foam is a result of the bottling process.
